After fighting the Tick fire near Santa Clarita Strike Team XLA-1075A was released and reassigned to the Kincade Fire in Sonoma County some four hundred miles north. The Kinkade fire has currently burned some 100 square miles and threatens entire towns and over 80,000 home in Northern California. 185,000 people have been evacuated.

Strike team XLA1075A is made up of firefighters from Culver City, Santa Monica and Beverly Hills Fire Departments.
