Tracy Bernard Jones of Los Angeles, California announced his candidacy for California State Assembly in District 54, challenging incumbent Sydney Kamlager-Dove.
The assembly district includes Culver City. Jones, who proudly resides in View Park, California, was born in Los Angeles and attended Crenshaw high school and Arizona State University. He is an accomplished special education teacher and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of public and private sector experience. He is a thought-provoking leader, dedicated community organizer and well recognized change agent.
"I am running because I want to continue to give back to the community that has given me so much," Jones said.
Jones represents integrity, values and strength that Assembly District 54 needs and deserves from an elected official.
He intends to bring forth an aggressive, grass roots campaign. "We can't afford to vote for a 'business-as-usual' candidate, I am running a grass roots campaign beholden to the people, not to Sacramento Lobbyist," Jones said. His focus is on enacting meaningful legislation in education, environment and housing.
Jones is holding his official launch party on Nov. 9, 2019 in View Park, California.
