Culver City Firefighters Deployed to Palisades Fire

Water Dropping Helicopters help douse flames during the Palisades fire Monday as strike team crews battle the blaze.

Culver City Fire Engine 42 and Battalion 41 were deployed Monday to the fire in the Pacific Palisades. The are part of strike team XLA1075A made up of firefighters from Culver City, Santa Monica and Beverly Hills Fire Departments.

The strike team has been deployed throughout California during last year's devastating wildfires and recently returned from assisting in the San Fernando Valley Fire last week.
