Canyon Club Presents Hit Groups

The Fab Four

Three concerts that you don't want to miss are landing at The Canyon Club.

On July 20, The Fab Four, will take the stage at the Starlight Bowl in Burbank.

If you close your eyes and listen to The Fab Four sing a Beatles song, you will think that the boys from Liverpool had transported themselves back from the '60's. That's how accurate and authentic their sound is – arguably the world's best Beatles tribute band.

They will even bring along their own "Ed Sullivan" to introduce and interact with the band. He is like Ed McMahon was to Johnny Carson – trading jokes with the band at different intervals during the performance.

When you open your eyes, you will see four lads on stage that closely resemble the Beatles – John (Ron McNeil - band founder), Paul (Andy Sarraf), George (Gavin Pring), and Ringo (Erik Fidel).

The show will include three costume changes representing every era of the Beatles career, including their Sgt. Pepper "uniforms" and John all decked out in white singing "Imagine." Even when the band members chat in-between songs with the audience, they sound like the Beatles.

Each song they will play will not disappoint. Especially one of their anthems, the song "A Day In The Life" which seems to put the crowd in a very good mood. Everybody will have a smile on their face. Other notable songs they sing are "Hard Day's Night," "Something," "Twist And Shout," "Here Comes The Sun," and "I Want To Hold Your Hand," among many other great hits.

On July 6, '80's sensations Howard Jones and Men Without Hats, will be treating fans to their pop music at Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills.

Jones first burst upon the contemporary music scene with his very English song-writing and pioneering synthesizers. He lived in the higher reaches of the album charts in the UK, USA and many other countries. "No One is To Blame" reached No. 1 in the US. Other hits include: "Things Can Only Get Better," "New Song, What is Love," "Pearl In The Shell," among many others.

Men Without Hats have been creating iconic pop music for over three decades too. This band has also topped charts and picked up a 1983 Grammy nomination for Best Group (Culture Club won it).

Their hits have been featured on The Simpsons, Family Guy, and Glee.

Their anthem is the immortal song, "The Safety Dance."

Finally, the voice of The Monkees, Micky Dolenz, will be taking you back to the '60's on July 7 at The Canyon in Agoura Hills.

Dolenz, an unmistakable performer, moved a generation and led this pop culture phenomena to a dozen Top 20 singles, four No. 1 albums, and two Emmy Awards.

He has a one-of-a-kind presence to the stage, drawing on his background in television, film, broadcasting and Broadway.

Some of his many big hits include: "Daydream Believer," Pleasant Valley Sunday," "Last Train to Clarksville," "Mary, Mary," among many others.
