To the disappointment of many the Culver City Fireworks Show has been cancelled. Several years ago, the show was moved from its longtime location at Culver City High School to West LA College. The move was due to a major renovation on the field at the school. Now with major construction at the college the show had to be cancelled this year. Exchange Club leaders have vowed the popular show will return next year.

Revenue from the show is used by the club to support their many charitable activities. Among the organization that benefit from the Exchange Club's donations are the Culver-Palms YMCA, Culver City Little League, Culver City High School Athletics, Culver City Youth Health Center, Culver City Senior Center, Culver City Disability Carnival.
