The term "MASTER BARBER" is a title earned by an experienced industry professional who has mastered a wide range of hair types focusing primarily on grooming for men. To be a Master Barber you must graduate a professional Barber School apprenticing with Master Barbers for 1500 hours.

Master Barber & Proprietor STEVEN MORAN is nicknamed the "Natural". Amateur Barber at age 14, working his first pro job by 19 at a no nonsense old school shop, he wisely chose to learn from his elders while simultaneously completing formal training. Natural talent matched with deep desire earned Steven a long list of regulars now AB "Loyal Customers". Raised in So Cal Steve is a family man, lover of dogs, local car culture and is an active Community member donating haircuts to the elderly and more.

As a native Californian and family man he loves beach culture and urban fashion keeping it real with the "Active lifestyle," while following the family tradition. Robert became a Master Barber at 24, now 30 he brings with him a strong local following of prominent businessmen, regulars and sports celebrities to Active Barbers Culver City.
