Lauren Jones (3) hit four three-pointers to lead Culver in scoring with 16 points

Culver City High girls basketball beat a very tough Crossroads School team, 66-50, at home on Thursday night, February 15 to advance to Round 2 of the 2018 CIF Southern Section Division 3AA Playoffs. The Centaurs will now "host" the South Pasadena High Tigers, who advanced by defeating Chino High, 56-53, in their first round game.

The Culver girls were originally scheduled to travel to South Pasadena High for the game this Saturday night. However, reportedly there was not a certified basketball facility available in that local area that accommodated both teams. An agreement was reached that Culver City High will be the playoff game's location this Saturday night starting at 6:00 p.m. in Del Goodyear Gymnasium. South Pasadena is still considered the home team for the record.
