Guys and Dolls at Hamilton High

February 2, 2018

The Academy of Music and Performing Arts at Hamilton high school will present the classic musical Guys and Dolls, for ten performances from February 1 through 17.

One of the premier performing arts programs in the Los Angeles area, Hamilton's musical theater program won a total of 17 awards and 30 nominations last year, including Outstanding Production and Best Youth Orchestra from the John Raitt Awards for Youth (JRAY) and National Youth Arts Awards (NYA).

The beloved musical Guys and Dolls opened on Broadway in 1950, ran for 1,200 performances, and won the Tony Award for Best Musical. It has enjoyed several Broadway revivals and remains one of the most produced musicals, inspiring a movie with Marlon Brando and Frank Sinatra in 1955.

Student tickets are available for $10 on Thursdays and matinees. Purchase tickets at tinyurl.com/hamiltonguysanddolls.
