Culver City Council candidate Marcus Tiggs is holding a campaign fundraising event on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 5 pm to 7 at the landmark Backstage Bar & Grill, 10400 Culver Blvd., Culver City.

According to Tiggs, what sets him apart is his proven leadership abilities in and outside Culver City, his breadth of experience working on various city commissions/committees, and his time-tested ability to work as a team with others, regardless of differing political or social views.

Tiggs is a practicing attorney and a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel and combat veteran. He has served the community in numerous capacities from the Planning Commission (including chair), the Fiesta La Ballona Committee (including chair), and as a leader on the Public Safety Citizen Advisory Committee, Culver City Unified School District Citizen Bond Oversight Committee, the Centennial Celebration Committee, and numerous other groups.
