The Culver City Disability Advisory Committee and Disability Services Program was awarded with a 2016 Congressional Recognition of Excellence Award from Representative Karen Bass (California 37th District) on Sunday, December 10.

This Los Angeles County Development Commission Award acknowledges that the Disability Advisory Committee (DAC) has helped guide the City of Culver City's disabled services programs, which demonstrated the City's excellent use of grant funds.

These grant funds include those from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME grant programs.
