The USC men's basketball team was ranked No. 10 in the Associated Press preseason poll today (Nov. 1). It marks the highest preseason ranking for the Trojan men's basketball team since the 1974-75 season. It is also the highest ranking at any point for the Trojans since finishing the 1991-92 season at No. 8.

also achieved a preseason ranking of No. 11 in the USA/TODAY Coaches poll and are listed as No. 6 in the ESPN Power Index.

USC is coming off a school-record 26-win season, having won two NCAA Tournament games for the first time since the 2007 season and has its top eight scorers back.
