Culver To Host Baseball Clinic Featuring UCLA Coach

The Playa Vista Orioles baseball academy will conduct a very special instructional clinic at the Culver City High School baseball field, with UCLA Head Coach John Savage as the featured guest instructional speaker, on Saturday, September 16, from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The event is designed for high energy and accomplished youth baseball players, from 11 to 13 years of age, and pre-registration is recommended, as there is only a limited number of participants that will be accepted via online registration.

The Playa Vista Orioles have successfully provided baseball instruction for more than 16 years, and more than 3,000 players that have participated in the Playa Vista Orioles program have gone on to play as collegiate athletes, and more than 200 have become Major League Baseball players.

The featured instructional speaker for the September 16 clinic at Culver City High School, John Savage, is the Head Coach for UCLA baseball, taking the Bruins to eight appearances in the Division 1 championship playoffs; with three appearances in the final College World Series rounds, and one National Championship.

Coach Savage is one of the most highly respected and accomplished coaches in baseball, and the September 16 Playa Vista Orioles clinic that features Coach Savage at Culver City High School will be a unique opportunity for all registrants.
