Friends Of The Health Center Honor One Of Their Own

September 7, 2017

The Friends of the Sandy Segal Youth Health Center recently honored Board Member Pat Levinson, Special Projects, at a Dodger Baseball themed barbecue at the home of Dr. Sarah Carpenter, President. Pat, a retired educator, has been actively involved with the Friends group since 1997. In the past she has served as president and treasurer, organized fundraisers, provided community outreach, and always stepped in when needed. Working with last year’s honoree, Treasurer Sue Mitchell, she is mindful of the budgetary requirements to run the nonprofit Health Center and is always finding ways to raise the necessary funds. Sandy Segal Youth Health Center is located on the campus of Culver City High and Middle Schools. The Center, operated by Venice Family Clinic, offers free physical and mental health care for Culver City Students. Mental Health counseling is provided by the Los Angeles Child Development Center. For more information about the Center contact Sarah Carpenter atsarahssyhc@gmail.com. Caption: Pat Levinson in the middle, Dr. Sarah Carpenter on her right and Sue Mitchell on her left.
