Former Centaur Athletic Director Offers Three Summer CampsYouth Volleyball Summer Camps At Culver Middle And High Schools Beginning,

 


Intermediate and high-performance summer volleyball camps for youth will be conducted by the Culver Volleyball Club at the Culver City middle and high school gyms. Youngsters in session one, June 19-22, 4-7 p.m., will learn fundamentals of passing, serving, setting & hitting. The camp is intended for players without experience to those with light experience hoping to start club or competitive school teams, according to camp director Marty Siegal. Youth with limited experience in school or beach volleyball to those with one or two years club experience will cover more advanced transition skills in the second session, July 10-13, 4-7 pm. Designed to prepare players for their middle school or high school teams, the final session, July 17-20, 8:30 am- to 12:30 pm., will cover more advanced transition skills. Fees are $175 for beginning and intermediate camps. High Performance camp is $200. “Summer participation is an excellent path to improving your game, making new friends, and getting to know your coaches,” said Siegal, former Culver City High volleyball head coach and athletic director.
