February 9, 2017

Coming to the Saban Theatre on February 11 is a trio of exceptional female talent. Multiple Grammy Award-winner Olivia Newton-John, Grammy nominee Beth Nielsen Chapman and SOCAN Award-winner Amy Sky take the stage to lend their vocal, songwriting, and performing talents to create a special "LIV ON" collaborative concert.

"LIV ON" is an album about grief and healing that was released in October 2016 to help inspire those who wish to transcend loss while walking a journey toward new-found meaning and hope.

"As a group, it's our intention with this album to create songs with a message of compassion and hope," Newton-John said. "They are for anyone facing a time of challenge in their life, whether it is grieving a loss or on the journey to health and recovery."

This new project grew out of the three artists' personal experiences with loss and illness, which they all survived to "LIV ON" and celebrate each day with a depth of gratitude. A labor of love stemming from the trio sharing their stories together and expressing their deepest feelings from the most difficult to the most celebratory with the hope that this music can uplift hearts burdened by grief while at the same time bring comfort and joy to the audience as a whole.

Newton-John, with a career spanning more than five decades, is still a vibrant, creative individual adored by fans around the globe. Famed for her work on records, movies, television and the live stage, her worldwide popularity is still going strong. Co-starring with John Travolta in the movie "Grease" rocketed her to the next dimension in 1978.

From writing hits for other artists to recording her own, Nashville-based singer-songwriter Chapman has truly embraced musical diversity. She's penned numerous hits and written songs for many top artists including Bonnie Raitt, Emmylou Harris, Bette Midler, Elton John, Neil Diamond, Trisha Yearwood, Michael McDonald, Willie Nelson, among many others.

Sky is a singer-songwriter, record producer, theatre actress, and television host. She has appeared on record, stage and screen, and is widely regarded as a gifted and successful songwriter.
