Lawry's Beef Bowl Sets The Standard For Special Events

There are 42 college football bowls games this year and next year that will include 84 teams. Every game has special events leading up to the game that makes that particular one stand out and make players, coaches and fans want to visit that city a little more than others.

When it comes to special events Lawry’s Beef Bowl is the golden standard.

Now in its’ 61th year, the Beef Bowl rivals Disneyland as one of the highlights for the two teams who play in the Rose Bowl. This year 11-2 Penn State from the Big-10 and the 9-3 USC Trojans from the Pac-12 will battle at the dinner table and on the Rose Bowl field.

This year the Beef Bowl will host Penn State on Wednesday December 28 and USC on Thursday December 29.

Lawry’s Prime Rib restaurant is located in Beverly Hills on the famous Restaurant Row on La Cienega Boulevard in Beverly Hills. The menu consists of the famous spinning bowl salad, roasted prime rib of beef, mashed potatoes, whipped cream horseradish, creamed corn and apple pie for desert.

The Rose Bowl game will be played on Monday January 2, 2017 at 2 p.m. in Pasadena. Although New Year’s Day is Sunday the Parade and Game is never played on Sunday. The game will be televised on ESPN and it will feature a USC team that has one of the most exciting players in the nation in Adoree’ Jackson and a great young quarterback, Sam Darnold.
