City to Hire Permanent City Clerk

Culver City has begun advertising to fill the position of City Clerk. Jeremy Green, the deputy city clerk, has been acting in that capacity since Assistant City Manager/City Clerk Martin Cole abruptly left earlier this year.

Sources at city hall told the Observer that Cole left after being informed by City Manager John Nachbar that the position of Assistant City Manager was being eliminated but that Cole could remain as City Clerk with no reduction is salary.

The position is full time with an annual salary of $129,362.22 to $157,889.30.

The position is currently posted on the city’s website at http://www.culvercity.org

The deadline to apply is Thursday December 8, 2016 at 5pm.
