USC Dominates UCLA, Gets Ready For Notre Dame

November 24, 2016

While the USC Trojans will get ready to play Notre Dame on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at the Coliseum they will also be keeping an eye on the results of the Colorado, Utah game on Saturday.

After the Trojans beat UCLA 36-14 last Saturday at the Rose Bowl that other Pac-12 game on Saturday is very important to the Trojans.

If Utah beats Colorado USC will be the South Division champs and they will play in the Pac-12 championship game. Both teams will end up with the same division record at 7-2 but USC beat Colorado so the Trojans would go to the championship game.

If they win that game they will be playing in the Rose Bowl on Monday, January 2. The Trojans are 8-3 overall

“UCLA is a good football team and they are a proud football team and they came out and hit us in the mouth but our kids did not panic,” said USC head coach Clay Helton after the game last Saturday.

UCLA will finish their season at California next Saturday at 4 p.m. The Bruins are 4-7 overall and 2-6 in the Pac-12 South.

“Regardless of how the season has turned out, I am proud of our team and especially of the seniors,” said UCLA head coach Jim Mora after the game at the Rose Bowl.
