La Reina (21-7) of Thousand Oaks lost only two sets while going undefeated (12-0) in the Tri-Valley League. The Regents beat Alemany in a five-set nail-biter to make to this season's finals.

They are ranked 140th in the State while Culver is ranked 184.

La Reina, riding a 7-game win-streak is no stranger to post-season play. The Regents lost in the CIF Division 4AA Finals in 2013, and also lost in the CIF SoCal State Finals, in 2014. Last year, La Reina was knocked out of the playoffs in the quarter-finals by Archer Girls School.

The Centaurs and Regents face-off Friday, Veterans Day, at 2pm at Cerritos College. The supporters' bus will leave the school at noon, Friday. Tickets for the game will be sold at the school this Thursday.
