Culver City Chamber of Commerce President Steven Rose commented on her service to the community, "Barbara, through her career always was eager to learn a new skill that would benefit herself, the Chamber and its membership. Barbara's voice was always calm in the middle of a storm when it became very hectic around major Chamber events. She truly became knowledgeable on how active the Chamber is in the community and the benefits it brings to Culver City."

Filling Barbara's shoes is Sandra Saldana who most recently served as Communications and Administrative Specialist/Community Manager at the LAX Coastal Chamber of Commerce. She is a graduate of Ithaca College and the Chamber leadership academy accredited by Loyola Marymount University.
