Culver City Police reported a carjacking of a medical marijuana delivery van in the Watseka Parking Garage on Thursday afternoon at 12:24pm.

According to Lieutenant Sam Agaiby of the Culver City Police Department the driver of the van was downtown having lunch and was confronted by the suspect. Shots were fired and the suspect drove off with the van.

The van was recovered on a nearby street. The suspect is still at large.

It is the first carjacking in Culver City in many years.
