Karina Baker of Culver City Wins International Scholarship

 

Karina Baker won the Gilman International Scholarship for the summer term. This program aims to diversify study abroad participants and awards up to $5,000 for undergraduates. Baker, of Culver City, an international and global studies major in the College of Liberal Arts, will study in India.

"They want to be part of the conversation, part of solutions to challenges we face as a world community, and they possess a powerful set of globally relevant skills and knowledge."
