Lawry's Beef Bowl Sets The Standard For Special Events

The are 40 college football bowls games this year and next year which will include 80 teams. Every game has special events leading up to the game that makes that particular game standout and make players, coaches and fans want to visit that city a little more than others. When it comes to special events Lawry’s Beef Bowl is the golden standard.

Now in its’ 60th year the Beef Bowl rivals Disneyland as one of the highlights for the two teams who play in the Rose Bowl. This year the 12-1 Iowa Hawkeyes and the 11-2 Stanford Cardinal will battle at the dinner table and on the Rose Bowl field.

Lawry’s Prime Rib restaurant is located in Beverly Hills on the famous Restaurant Row on La Cienega Boulevard. The menu consists of the famous spinning bowl salad, roasted prime rib of beef, mashed potatoes, whipped cream horseradish, creamed corn and apple pie for desert.

The Rose Bowl game will be played on January 1, 2016 at 2 p.m. in Pasadena. The game will be televised on ESPN and it will feature an Iowa team that has not played in the Rose Bowl since 1990 and Stanford which has one of the best players in the nation in Heisman Trophy runner-up Christian McCaffrey.
