Multiple Coyote Sightings In Culver

November 26, 2015

There have been sightings of coyotes in the areas around Syd Kronenthal Park, Culver Crest and the Lindberg Park neighborhoods.

Police are warning residents that cats should be kept indoors at all times. Dogs must be kept under direct supervision and restrained on a chain or leash, not exceeding six feet in length, while being walked in any public area.

Further Police advise that Coyotes are wild animals. Do not entice or approach them. Never feed them and they are smart, fast, and will take what they can get.

Residents are asked to report wildlife sightings and issues to (310) 253-6143 or animal.services@culvercity.org. As always, call 911 in case of an emergency.
