House If Fitness Plans Thanksgoving Food Drive

November 12, 2015

House of Fitness is honored to be hosting its first ever Thanksgiving Day Food Drive. All non-perishable food collected will be donated to the S.A.V.E.S. (Saint Augustine Volunteer Emergency Services).

S.A.V.E.S. is Culver City’s only food pantry and has been part of the community since 1973. They have served 11,355 households, including 22,473 adults, and 33,828 children. Thomas Plejer, HOF’s founder explains, “S.A.V.E.S. is unique to Culver City and it is important to support such a worthy local organization, because Culver City is such a great community.”

HOF is asking its members and the community to bring a can, box or bag of non-perishable food to the gym as often as you like or every time you work out and donate it in the S.A.V.E.S. box in its lobby.

Every time an individual leaves a donation they will get a raffle ticket. We will draw the winning ticket after Thanksgiving and the winner will receive a HOF duffle bag full of swag and HOF gear. House of Fitness will also make a cash donation to S.A.V.E.S. for their food panty services.

House of Fitness is a premier personal training facility, which offers health and workout programs for all levels. Members have the option of working out on their own or private personal training, or joining one of many team training classes including spin (cycling).

Membership includes a comprehensive evaluation and individualized program design. You can learn more about the gym and programs online at houseoffitnessla.com.
