The USC football team is hoping to put together its first three-game winning streak of the 2015 season when it hosts Arizona at the Coliseum Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.

The Trojans are 5-3 overall and tied for second place in the Pac-12 south with UCLA with a record of 3-2. Arizona is 5-4 overall and 2-4 in the south division.

The Trojans may be without the services of their best wide receiver, JuJu Smith-Schuster for the game on Saturday. Smith-Schuster injured his right hand in the 27-21 win over California last Saturday. He is the Trojans’ leading receiver with 52 catches.

If he cannot play 6-4, 220-pound junior D’Quan Hampton will probably start in his place. Other receivers who can also lend a helping hand are Darreus Rogers, Steven Mitchell, Deontay Burnett, Jalen Greene and Adoree’ Jackson.

The Trojans may need to turn to their running game like they did against Cal. They ran the ball 50 times for 185 yards against the Bears. Leading the way was freshman Ronald Jones, who carried the ball 11 times for 80 yards, Tre Madden had 62 yards and Justin Davis rushed for 42.

The Trojans’ defense continues to move in the right direction, holding Cal’s high powered offense to 21 points. They held the Bears to 117 rushing yards in 30 carries.

The Trojans’ No. 1-rated women’s volleyball team will play four home games during the next week at the Galen Center, starting tonight when it opposes Colorado at 8 p.m. On Sunday the 23-1 Trojans take on Utah at 11 a.m. Next week they face Oregon on Wednesday (Veterans Day) at 7:30 p.m. and Oregon State on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
