At approximately 11:35 AM on Wednesday, two juvenile suspects attacked a man, pushed him to the ground, and robbed him of his cell phone. The attack took place in on Watseka Avenue in Los Angeles on the Culver City border just south of Venice Boulevard. Culver police officers were in the area and immediately tracked the suspects based on information received from the victim and located them on Washington Boulevard near Ince Avenue. The suspects spotted the officers and ran eastbound on Washington Boulevard and through area businesses. A short foot pursuit ensued and the suspects were detained a couple of blocks away. The victim's phone was discarded by one of the suspects as he was running from the officers. The phone was recovered and returned to the victim.

The suspects were placed under arrest for robbery.
