On Thursday at approximately 2am Culver City Police Officers responded to a report of a man with a gun and shots fired in the 11100 block of Washington Boulevard.

When officers arrived, they met with the victim who was uninjured and witnesses who provided information about the identity of the suspect and his possible location.

The suspect was identified by name and description as Christopher Mangan, 34. A perimeter was established in the area of a business on the 11300 block of Washington Boulevard near the corner of Sawtelle Blvd. just west of the 405 freeway, while attempts to make contact with Mangan were underway.

A short time later, Mangan was taken into custody at this location without incident. He was placed under arrest and charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon.

Mangan is being held on $110,000 bail.

Court records show he was previously arrested by CCPD on July 17, 29 and November 18 of 2014.
