Cast Announced for New Douglas Play

Casting has been set for the 24th STreet Theatre award-winning production of "Walking the Tightrope," which will be remounted for the Kirk Douglas Theatre presentation of four public performances only, May 2 and 3 at 3 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

(Student performances will take place April 28 through May 1.)

Written by Mike Kenny and directed by Debbie Devine, "Walking the Tightrope" features a cast of Mark Bramhall, Tony Duran and Micaela Martinez as well as live music by Michael Redfield. This play is produced in association with Jack Black.

Tickets for "Walking the Tightrope" are priced at $30, and can be purchased at or by calling (213) 628-2772. The Kirk Douglas Theatre is located at 9820 Washington Blvd. in Culver City, 90232.

The presentation is part of the DouglasPlus programming at the Kirk Douglas Theatre. DouglasPlus provides the flexibility to explore new work and push boundaries through fully and minimally staged events, workshops and readings and traditional and non-traditional performance configurations.
