Manager Don Mattingly has announced that Clayton Kershaw will be the starting pitcher for the Dodgers' opening game of the 2015 season, April 6 against the San Diego Padres at Dodger Stadium.

It will be the fifth straight year that Kershaw has pitched the Dodgers' opener. Hall of Famer Don Sutton holds the club record with eight opening day starts.
