Woman's Club Fashion Show To Benefit Youth

February 19, 2015

Two local organizations, the YMCA Summer Camp Program and the Sandy Segal Youth Health Center, will benefit from the Culver City Woman’s Club Spring Fiesta fashion show on Thursday, March 12 at the Casa Sanchez Restaurant.

Last summer several members had the opportunity to visit for a day the YMCA’s Camp Whittle in Big Bear. The club is pledging the proceeds of the fashion show so disadvantaged children will have the opportunity to experience the programs in the beautiful setting.

The fashion show will also benefit the Sandy Segal Youth Health Center serving Culver City Middle School and high school students. It provides free quality health care for hundreds of Culver City youth each year, along with supportive services and health education benefiting entire families.

Mary Ann Ayres will be presenting fashions from Planet Chic which specializes in easy care travel wear offered at affordable prices. Also featured will be handbags from the Miche Collection by Susan Loboviski. All fashions and accessories will be available for sale before and after the show. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the club’s charities.

In addition to the fashion show there will be a silent auction and door prizes.

The event begins at 5 pm. Free hors d’oeuvres will be served and there is a happy hour no host bar.

Casa Sanchez Restaurant s located at 4500 S. Centinela Ave. in Los Angeles. Tickets paid in advance are $20; at the door they are $25. For reservations please call Carole Kanter (310) 453-2314.
