Longtime Culver Resident Polokoff Dies at 84

Beverly Polokoff, 84, died Nov. 28, 2014. She was born May 3, 1930, to Morris and Fanny Polokoff in Kansas City.

Beverly had an interesting and unique life, living in Culver City for the majority of her adult years.

She had a long career in PR working for liberal politicians and many non-profits. She was a proud supporter of all aspects of human equality. Beverly was an early pioneer for women's rights and prominent voice to many who had none.

Beverly will be missed by many, including her nieces, Stefanie Neumann, Robin Patterson and Andi Leoploldus. She also leaves her sister-in-law Shirley Polokoff and her late brother, Gerald Polokoff.
