The Social Justice and Mission Team of Culver-Palms United Methodist Church will be hosting a presentation and discussion about racial imbalance in U.S. prisons on Sunday, February 1, from noon until 2 p.m.

Reverend Timothy Murphy, Executive Director of the group Progressive Christians Uniting, will address the questions of why the United States, with 5% of the world's population, has 25% of the world's prison population and why more than 60% of that group consists of African-American or Hispanic people.
