Culver City Hospital Evacuated

Patients at Southern California Hospital Culver City were evacuated Thursday as smoke filled multiple floors of the hospital.

Firefighters were removing smoke from multiple floors after arriving shortly before 2 p.m.

The Culver City was assisted by Los Angeles City fire department.

Firefighters are currently checking the area for hazardous conditions, a Culver City fire official said in a statement, while patients were evacuated to the hospital's parking lot.

Culver City Fire Department is advising everyone to avoid the area of Washington Blvd. and Delmas Terrace until further notice in downtown Culver City. Surrounding roads of Venice, Hughes, Duquesne, Culver, and Watseka are impacted.
