9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

 

September 4, 2014

The City of Culver City will host a remembrance of September 11th, 2001 honoring fallen first responders and the 2,983 men, women and children who lost their lives in the attacks of the World Trade Center, Pentagon and Flight 93.

The Fire and Police Departments are coordinating memorial services to be held at each of the three City Fire Stations. No service will be held in front of City Hall as in years past.

Members of the public invited to attend.

The ceremony schedule and address of each fire station are as follows:

6:55 a.m. Crews assemble in front of flag

6:59 a.m. Time of the South Tower collapse, siren sounds

7:00 a.m. One minute of complete silence

7:01 a.m. Flag to half-staff

7:03 a.m. Ceremony concluded
