Isabel Baggett, 91, Longtime Culver Resident Dies

 


Isabel Theresa (Layana) Baggett, 91, of Culver City died April 23 after a long illness. Isabel is survived by her husband Neal.

She had four beloved sisters who predeceased her: Ramona, Juanita, Gabriela and Felisa.

Isabel was born in West Los Angeles on February 4, 1923, attended Hamilton High, was married to Neal in 1946, and had been a resident of Culver City for over 60 years.

She loved her large extended family, her gardening and was a long time member of Saint Augustine’s Catholic Church.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City on Friday, May 2 at 1 pm.

There will also be a viewing on Thursday evening May 1 from 5 pm to 8.


Relatives and friends are welcome.
