Martin Beer, a sophomore majoring in Political Science from Culver City, has been named to the fall 2013 Dean's List at Hofstra University.

Students who began their studies before fall 2012 must earn at least a 3.4 grade point average to qualify. Those who entered the university after fall 2012 must earn a grade point average of 3.5.

Hofstra University is a nationally ranked private university 25 miles from New York City and all its cultural, recreational and professional opportunities.
