Library Plans Book Sale This Month

The Culver City Friends of the Library is having their annual Book Sale and Craft Fair on Saturday, November 17, from 9 am to 3 pm at the Culver City Julian Dixon Library.

Thousands of titles including gently used children's books, comic books, mass market paperback and coffee table books will be available for sale. In addition, a variety of local artisans will be selling handmade gifts and holiday decorations from 9 am to 2 pm.

Volunteers are needed. Set up starts at 7:30 a.m. and officials start breaking the sale down at 2:30 p.m. Sign up for 1st shift 7:30am-11:30am or 2nd shift 11:30-3:30pm (pizza lunch included). high school students and Scouts can receive community service credit. Lots of help is always needed to make the sale a success.
