    LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Sparks today announced the re-signing of guard Layshia Clarendon and forward Rae Burrell. Per team policy, the terms of the agreements were not released. In 2023, Clarendon averaged a career-best 11.1 points and 1.1 steals while shooting 45.7 percent from the three-point line in her first season with the Sparks. Samuelson has appeared in five games (one start) this season with the Sparks, where she's averaged 9.8 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 23 minutes per game.
