    In what is a rare display at city hall the council rushed to approve three retail marijuana stores in Culver City. There was much public discussion with those opposed to the stores citing higher crime rates near the stores and the influence it would have on teenagers.     Culver CityBus has begun to upgrade the City's Bus Stop Furniture. The Project, scheduled to begin this month includes 31 bus stops along Sepulveda Boulevard, a segment of Washington Boulevard (downtown Culver City and Expo Culver City Station area) and the Robertson Transit Hub.     In what police thought would be a difficult case to crack, police said a KTLA news story, in which police asked for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect, resulted in an anonymous tip that led to the suspect’s arrest. Lucian Wayne Bingham-Jackson, 24, of Los Angeles was arrested on Nov. 30 and booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
