    A suspect was arrested this week in connection with a series of sexual assaults targeting female Santa Monica College students, school authorities announced.     A man was struck and killed by a car while riding a bicycle into oncoming traffic in Mar Vista last Sunday, authorities said. The crash occurred around 12:30 a.m. near Centinela and Mitchell avenues, where the car was going southbound on Centinela and the bicyclist was headed north, according to Officer Rosario Cervantes of the Los Angeles Police Department.     The USC women's volleyball team will host two Pac-12 games on Friday and Sunday at the Galen Center on the USC campus.
