    Senator Curren Price led the vote count in Tuesday’s election for the 9th district on the Los Angeles City Council. Price’s State Senate District includes Culver City. Price will face a runoff with Ana Cubas in the General election on May 21. Should price win the council seat the Governor will call a special election to fill the vacate term.     Two qualified marathon runners, Daiki Nitta and Hiroko Hamada, will be coming to Culver City as guests of the Culver City Sister City Committee to run in the L.A. Marathon. Two years ago Nitta was set to run in the L.A. Marathon as part of our annual Sister City trade with Kaizuka when he got called back into service and had to assist with the devastation in Japan following their multiple disasters.
