    Culver City Police Department responded to a call at a home in the 3900 block of Van Buren Place Saturday night. The resident, a woman, told officers her son was under the influence of drugs and was destroying furniture in the home. The suspect refused to cooperate with the officers and had to be forcibly removed from the premises.     The Culver City Fire Department and Police Department responded recently to a shooting on Green Valley Circle in the Fox Hills area of Culver City. Initial reports indicate the victim committed suicide. It was the first reported suicide in Culver City this year. Last year there were four reported suicides.
