The Brandeis Men’s Group meets the third Wednesday at Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium on Overland and Culver Blvd. Listen to dynamic speakers discussing very interesting topics. We fund scholarships for research projects at Brandeis University in Boston. On April 18: Breakfast 9 a.m., speaker Rich Richman, graduated from Harvard and NYU Law school; practiced for 30 years.

Then on May 16 Lunch Meeting 11-2 p.m .: Speaker Thom Mason. He founded the USC Department of Jazz. He was chairman 1983-1996. A professional musician and played with almost all the famous singers and bands from the 1950’s to the 1980’s. June 20 Breakfast 9 a.m. with speaker Ed Asner-actor activist voice actor and former president of the Screen Actors Guild. He has appeared in over 50 films and over 100 TV productions. Come and enjoy the lox, bagel, fruit, muffins $15.00 all are welcome.

Every year on the last full weekend in July the self-proclaimed “Garlic Capital of the World” welcomes thousands of visitors from around the global to the Gilroy Garlic Festival. July 27-29, 2018.

A while back I discovered the red-light camera on the East side of Overland between Washington and Venice was in Los Angeles, but because it is monitoring traffic in Culver City its legal.
