"Tribute to the Stars" CCEF Fundraiser Saturday

"Tribute to the Stars," the annual fundraiser for the Culver City Education Foundation (CCEF), will have a new venue May 5. Following hugely successful years at The Culver Studios, the event will be held at Unici Casa in Culver City this year.
This gala is spectacular! It gives CCUSD students world class education. It also raises funds that will support programs in every Culver City school (including STEM education for every student).
This year, the "Stars" being honored include:
Culver Pride Awardee: Mark Stevens, founder of Silicon Valley's S-Cubed (a grad of Culver City High);
Teacher of the Year: Debby Ishii (La Ballona);
Classified Employee of the Year: Erika Arredondo (Farragut);
Shining Star: Leslie Adler (CCEF's founding Executive Director).
The event will also give the community a chance to meet CCEF's new Executive Director, Melanie Mack.
The gala features delightful food from restaurants both savory and sweet; the bar is hosted. All proceeds give crucial support to CCUSD students and teachers.
