Culver 7-Eleven Robbed-Store Clerk Shot

CCPD Searching For Suspects

Wednesday morning the 7-11 store at the corner of Washington and LA Cienega Blvds was robbed. The suspect had stolen several cases of beer and the store clerk was attempting to apprehend him.

As the suspect ran towards an awaiting vehicle, another suspect opened fire on the clerk from inside the vehicle, striking the clerk in the leg.

The clerk was transported to UCLA Medical Center, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and later released. Culver City Police Detectives responded to the scene and are handling the investigation.

While no arrests have been made Culver City Police cruisers and motorcycle officers were seen combing the area on both the Culver City and Los Angeles sides of Washington Blvd.


The suspect who committed the robbery is identified as a Male Hispanic in his 20's, 5'5 to 5'7 in height, wearing a grey sweatshirt, grey pants, and baseball hat.

There is no description of the second suspect who shot the clerk.

CCPD reports the getaway vehicle was Possibly a late model white Honda Civic Hatchback.
