Culver City Native Griffin Deary Wins Academic Prize

 


Wesleyan University student Griffin Deary of Culver City (formerly of Brentwood School) was recognized this spring with the Horgan Prize. Established by the Department of English in honor of Paul Horgan, professor emeritus and writer-in-residence, it is awarded to the student who has written the best short story of the year. Wesleyan University is a private, non-sectarian liberal arts university in Middletown, Conn.
