UCLA Men and Women Basketball Continue To Play At a High Level

The No. 10 UCLA men and the No. 15 Bruin women are looking to continue their elite play on the basketball court this week when they take on the Oregon schools. The men will be at home and the women will be on the road again after beating California and Stanford last week in the bay area.

The UCLA men, who are currently 21-3 overall and 8-3 in the Pac-12 Conference, played No. 5 Oregon last Thursday and they face last place Oregon State on Sunday at 2 p.m. inside Pauley Pavilion on the UCLA campus. The Bruins are led by freshmen Lonzo Ball and TJ Leaf, Aaron Holiday, Isaac Hamilton, Bryce Alford and Thomas Welsh.

The No. 15 lady Bruins are 18-5 overall and 9-3 in the Pac-12 Conference. They are on the road this week against Oregon on Friday at 6 p.m. and at Oregon State on Sunday at 1 p.m. They are led by Kari Korver, Jordin Canada, Kennedy Burke, Kelli Hayes and Monique Billings.

The UCLA women’s gymnastics team has a meet at home against Stanford on Saturday at 2 p.m. The Bruins are 3-1 overall and 2-0 in the Pac-12 Conference.
