USC Faces Unbeaten Washington On Saturday

November 11, 2016

The USC Trojans will play their most important game of the year this Saturday when they visit the University of Washington. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. and the game will be televised on Channel 11.

Washington is the No. 4 ranked team in the nation and they have one of the best quarterbacks in nation in 6-2, 209 pound Jake Browning.

“Washington’s quarterback jumps off the table,” said USC head coach Clay Helton. “He is very accurate and that is the reason the kid is up for the Heisman award. It is not all just him. They are an extremely balanced team and they have a very effective running game and they keep you off balanced. They also have a great coaching staff.”

USC will counter with its own outstanding players. Their quarterback Sam Darnold is playing at a high level and their second team running back, Ronald Jones II has stepped up after starting tailback Justin Davis went down with an ankle injury a few weeks ago. Last Saturday against Oregon Jones scored four touchdowns.

“My offensive line does a great job,” said Jones after the Oregon game.”

The Trojans’ defense is also playing well right now so the game on Saturday should be the featured one of the week in college football.
