Dear Editor:

This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending both of the plays put on this summer by the Culver City Public Theatre. The first is "Frog Tails" written by our own local playwright, Eric Billitzer. What a delightful, lively and well acted story. The children in the audience were especially enthralled and engaged by all of the characters, and there were plenty of laughs for everyone.

The second production was William Shakespeare's "As You Like It". I have seen this play performed in London, but the Culver City production -- beautifully acted, staged and full of energy and enthusiasm -- was even more enjoyable.

We are so lucky to live in a community that offers us so much in the way of entertainment. I highly recommend both productions, and I am looking forward to seeing each one a second time. Thank you Culver City Public Theatre. Thank you Culver City.
